The Sound of Worship

I have always enjoyed the sound of thousands of people worshipping God in unision. Voices raised singing praise to God. It's heavenly. There is something so perfect about the voices of God's people singing together in worship.

But yesterday i discovered another heavenly sound. To most human ears, the sounds would be far from perfect. Imagine five individuals singing one song. No one is together, hardly anyone is in tune, only a few know the words. But yet, there was a beautiful sound resounding from these five girls. "Our God is an awesome God, he reigns. From heaven above, with wisdom, power and love. Our God is an awesome God." It wasn't the words or our voices. But it was five individuals in various stages of their journey with Jesus worshipping together. Some are best friends with Jesus, others hardly know him and still others don't want to know him. But together they sang. What a beautiful sound!
